Pretium Eventus
Hawaiʻi · All islands

DJ + MC for weddings, parties, and events across Hawaiʻi.

Hawaiʻi events are booked with Pretium Eventus LLC (Hawaii). One DJ and MC from the first song to the send-off, with sound sized for the venue.

What we do

Four kinds of nights.

Weddings

Ceremony to send-off, MC all night, in sync with your planner. Planning an Oʻahu wedding? See the Oʻahu wedding DJ page.

Private parties

Birthdays, graduations and lūʻau, with music that fits the crowd in the room.

Corporate and resort

Galas, mixers and retreats. We work to the venue's sound limits and end time.

Beach and outdoor

Weatherproof setups for sand, lawns and gardens. We'll explain the permits for amplified sound on beaches and in parks.

How booking works

Four steps.

1

Send your date

Tell us the date, island and venue. You get a flat-fee quote.

2

Sign and reserve

Sign the contract and pay the retainer to lock the date.

3

Send your lists

Must-play and do-not-play lists are due 14 days out.

4

Balance

The balance is due 14 days before the event.

Hawaiʻi FAQ

Questions about Hawaiʻi events.

Can you play a beach wedding?

Yes. State beaches need a DLNR permit that specifically allows amplified sound, and county parks need their own permit. Your planner usually handles it, and we'll walk you through what to ask for.

Which islands do you cover?

Oʻahu, Maui, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi. Each date is one flat fee, quoted per trip to cover flights and gear.

How do requests work?

Your must-play list comes first. Guest requests get played when they fit the crowd, and your do-not-play list is always respected.
