Wedding DJ + MC · Palo Alto

Palo Alto wedding DJ and MC for Peninsula gardens, estates and backyards

Peninsula weddings lean intimate and outdoors: a garden ceremony in Los Altos Hills, a backyard reception in Menlo Park, a Woodside estate or a boutique hotel near Stanford. The music has to sound great at a volume that doesn't bother the neighbors, and the timeline has to respect a residential end time. Travel is included.

  • Wedding packages from $3,600
  • Bay Area travel included
  • MC included in every wedding package

Palo Alto venues

Gardens, estates, backyards and boutique hotels.

Fewer ballrooms, more trees. These are the Peninsula venue types we're asked about and how the setup differs for each.

Garden and estate venues

Los Altos Hills, Woodside and Portola Valley estates with a lawn ceremony and dinner under oaks and string lights. Ceremony sound, a cocktail speaker and the reception system are placed so the music carries to the tables, not over the fence.

Backyard weddings

Menlo Park, Atherton and Old Palo Alto homes with a tent, a rented dance floor and neighbors on both sides. We plan speaker placement and power with you, keep the volume where the city allows and build a hard stop into the timeline.

Stanford-area and University Avenue hotels

Boutique and full-service hotels in Palo Alto and Menlo Park with ballrooms and courtyards. Standard indoor setup with toast mics; uplighting is available if you want the room in your colors.

Community and cultural halls

Palo Alto, Mountain View and Sunnyvale venues for larger receptions, including Chinese, Indian and Filipino weddings with a longer program the MC runs.

Coastal venues toward Half Moon Bay

Over the hill to ranch and oceanfront venues on the coast. Wind off the Pacific is the big factor for ceremony sound; we weight and aim the setup for it. Same travel-included price.

Tech campus and company venues

Some couples hold a reception at an employer's event space. Big rooms with their own AV teams and badge access, which we coordinate ahead of the day.

Backyard power is the thing that surprises people. On the planning call we map where the band of outlets is, whether a generator is needed and where the speakers go so the neighbors stay friendly.

Palo Alto questions

What Peninsula couples ask.

Specific to Palo Alto and the surrounding towns. The general questions (holding a date, payments, overtime, insurance) are answered in the homepage FAQ.

We're getting married in our backyard. What do we need to provide?

Power and a spot for the DJ setup. We bring the sound, mics and lighting, and on the planning call we check whether the house circuits can handle it or a generator is the safer call.

How loud will it be for the neighbors?

As loud as the city allows and no more. We aim the speakers at the dance floor, keep subs modest, and set an agreed end time. A heads-up note to the neighbors from you goes a long way too.

Is a 60-guest wedding too small for a DJ and MC?

Not at all. Small weddings still need the processional cued, the toasts mic'd and the first dance called. Essential+ is built for exactly that size.

Can you do the ceremony on the coast and the reception back in Palo Alto?

Yes. Two locations in one day are planned as one timeline, with ceremony sound at the first site and the reception setup done ahead at the second. Travel across the Peninsula and the coast is included.
